WELCOME

The purpose of this site is to inform people who have an interest in
Model Power Boating and to provide some information on Model Boat Racing here in Sydney and Australia. We run at the Sydney Regatta Centre in Penrith, on one of the detention ponds.

Model Power Boats these days are typically timber built, ABS or fibreglass construction
and set up to run in certain engine and hull classes. Engines can be Electric, Petrol, or Nitro. Generally most boats are custom build, but there are a few racing hulls available off the shelf. Boats are radio controlled with either a stick or wheel radio.

Not every meeting is a race meeting, we try to run a practice day each month, so check the calendar and join us everyone is welcome.
